This story is gross.
Cub has had diarrhea all day. After the most recent diaper change, I got him cleaned up and sent him upstairs to play trains while I cleaned up the mess downstairs. When I finished, I headed upstairs to join him. About halfway up the stairs, I smelled it again. I went back downstairs to grab a diaper and wipes and started up the stairs again.
I got to the top of the stairs and found Cub with no pants on, diarrhea all over the floor and he was scooping it up, putting it on the train tracks, and driving his trains through “the mud.” After several seconds of borderline vomiting, I grabbed him and put him in the bathtub. While he was in the tub, I sanitized the holy hell out of the train table, and floor. I put all the trains and tracks into a trash bag. After I got Cub out of the tub, I poured the trains and tracks in, showered them off, and then bath bleached them.
I know you are thinking “WHY DIDNT YOU JUST THROW THEM OUT??” and the answer is they are crazy expensive!
It took them about a day to dry out but now the poop train is back in business.
